Interview with a Blogger - Amanda Madden

I think this is my favorite post yet for The Elementary Entourage. I had the opportunity to interview Amanda Madden from Teaching Maddeness and Teacher's Clubhouse. I started using her resources way before I knew her, but it has been an absolute pleasure for me to be able to interact with her and get advice about some of the techniques and strategies she's been using in her classroom with her products. Please enjoy this lovely interview and don't forget to visit her blog by clicking on her button below.

I can definitely attest to her Dealing with Math Homework program. I began using this at the start of this school year and kids love it!! I don't have the stress of correcting math homework workbook pages- they are just used as additional review for students to do at home. I am also in love with her Differentiated Spelling program. She has two lists for every second grade spelling pattern kids need to know. The best part about it is that students have to actually remember the pattern of the week for the spelling test- not just remember the words on the list. Take a closer look at it HERE.

One other item that I love to use from her are her monthly writing prompt calendars. I give one at the beginning of the month and allow students to use whichever prompts they want for their weekly writing homework assignments. Check out her Core Writing Through the Year Bundle HERE.

Thanks Amanda!!!
