Hey! I'm Lauren from Mrs. Thompson's Treasures, and I'm really excited to be a part of this amazing group of teacher bloggers!
Here's a little about me: I taught 3rd grade in a public school in Texas for 3 years, and then in 2007 my husband and I moved to the Middle East to do some non-profit work with Iraqi refugees. During our 4 1/2 years there, I taught several women's English classes, and worked with kids camps during the summers. While there, we also had our first 3 children. In 2012, we came back to Texas to join a new organization and go through some training. We had our 4th baby last year and are planning to move back overseas in the fall of 2015.
My husband Matthew and I - married almost 10 years!

These are my 4 little munchkins! Cayla (1), Caedmon (6), Camille (4), and Camry (2).
I am homeschooling the 2 older ones in 1st grade and Pre-K right now. Yes it is crazy and chaotic, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
