Read Alouds we LOVE + Tieks!!! February is a great month for all of this and more!!!
It's Dianna here with you today from Sassy, Savvy, Simple Teaching! Be sure to follow me along my journey!
Obviously teachers LOVE so many different books. I think I can say for most teachers, read aloud is a favorite time of the day.
Today I am here to share one of my favorite read aloud books!
The illustrations are my favorite! So great for inferring let alone all the other ELA lessons!!!
I remember the first day I read this book when teaching 2nd Grade! I fell in love years ago and always refer back to it. This book can be used for teaching language skills, comprehension strategies, writing strategies, character traits, and more! It's that awesome!
The story of a clumsy giraffe who can finally dance to his own music is very magical! Students will fall in love with Gerald and be inspired! The illustrations of this book can lead you into so many conversations with students based off of inferences.
